Short Description:► Outrageous hair, outrageous smoulder. Muscular, but unpleasantly thin, all stretch marks and sinew. Face is an odd mix of androgynously handsome and awkwardly intimidating - strong, pointed cheekbones and chin, and large, arresting blue eyes with a slightly mad look in them. Carries himself so tall you might not notice how short he is. Demeanour flamboyant, flashy and cartoonishly aloof, but very much a performance.
Fame-hungry, perfectionistic, talented and clever; does 'a little bit of everything'. He's using his band as a springboard to a solo career, which makes it infuriating that he's stuck in the back row. He used to be a member of the rock band S★O★L★D★I★E★R and he will never let anyone forget it.
Of course 'Cloud Strife' is a stage name, no-one's ever been called anything that ridiculous. (His real name is Clarence Strauss.) Don't ask him about his mental health history.
Fashion style - mostly stylish basics, perhaps a little on the military end, with quiet punk quirks and rather heavy, faintly Medieval jewellery. Clearly puts a lot of effort into looking good but doesn't want to upstage his own hair.

thing is, it's like... he's not new. he's been here way longer than me. and I guess he's been making music for about as long? I don't see how he could get signed otherwise.
and everyone here finds it charming. it's like we're all playing out the illusion of being in those old band movies where we're all psychedelic friends who live in the same house and get in scrapes with policemen. I don't know how longer I can take this for.
when I was in SOLDIER we had a strict 'no music between midnight and 1PM' rule, but that was because our frontman preferred cocaine to sleep and that whole thing ended about as well as you'd expect. so maybe it's for the best.

its more like a reality show if you ask me 'how long till these people kill each other' i mean the carnies do great but xan and me and luci get along real well and we picked fetch and poe were together cause we want to be ya know???? we werent tossed together by the label

I don't care about my bandmates and I don't think they care about me. there's even a member who's the spitting image of me already, just in case it wasn't already clear we were all a bunch of interchangeable haircuts. and I like plastic pop, but just looking at him freaks me out.
don't feel bad. he's still getting paid for ideas I came up with and taking all the credit. his nose can fall off for all I care.
as a kid I used to pick fights with people and then write songs about how much I hated them, so it was kind of nostalgic.

The whole thing is peppy guitar-led bedroom pop, with witty and sardonic lyrics about how Cloud is going to forgive him and let him do what he likes because he doesn't care any more, really, even though he wrote a whole album about it.]

we should! definitely. but we'd need some neutral ground, and I don't know what my bandmates will think of it...... could we disguise it as something else? what's something you've always wanted to try?
also, I'm not unprofessional enough to start beef with those guys yet. so I guess I'll have to come up with a different idea for a topic.
